ABOUT ME

I'm an educator, I'm an artist. I enjoy creating art personally and professionally. Drawing is my foundation, but I wanted to learn another creative skill  that would enable me to incorporate freehand design with technology. I earned my B.A. in Graphic Design from Bennett College and studied Graphic Design at Savannah College of Art and Design. Life experiences motivate me to continue evolving as an artist.

WHAT I'VE DONE

I've worked with Creative Arts Workshops for Kids for the second consecutive summer as a Teaching Artist, creating work for New York City Family Court in Manhattan. I continue to design logos, brochures, and other prints for various clients (churches, nonprofit organizations, individual clients). I've had the pleasure of being one of the t-shirt designers for AID Atlanta AIDS Walk (2006). I've taught for several years various grades and ages.

WHAT I DO

I enjoy creating art and using my gifts to encourage, inspire, and enlighten people. I continue to learn about art and design and look forward to learning new skills along with enhancing the current skills. I'm a lifetime learner, and look forward to future art and graphic design projects to come.
